I recently added some classes that run in the daytime for homeschooling families. These classes run the same programs as the after school classes, and run for 9 weeks every Tuesday morning through term. I have tried to keep the cost to a minimum, taking into consideration many homeschooling families are on a single income. I am able to do this at this stage because the classes are still very small, which means I do not need to employ assistants. The expectation is that parents may be able to assist, if needed.

The Homeschool PaD lessons are aimed at students in grades PP-Gr 3 and Gr 4-8. Details of lesson times are set out below. For those wanting classes for teenagers, go to the Creative Recreations page for more information.

Junior Lessons

"A World of Make Believe"

What child doesn’t like to follow the trail of their imagination into the world of make-believe. Here, students get to paint their own magical creatures and create a land where it is normal to see lollipop trees and hear whispers from the ground underfoot. Join us for a wonderful fairy-tale adventure.

Weeks 1-2: The Great Big Giant

"Seems a Bit Fishy to Me"

Fish! Who’d have thought you could get so creative with fish? Well, this term we will discover that creativity can be just as inspiring with the simple subject of fish as much as anything else. So come along with me to drop a line into our imagination and see what we can pull up.
